The Alcester-Hudson Cub track team hosted a meet on Tuesday, May 13. Both teams finished second in team points. The girls team had 106 points, and the boys team finished with 103 points.
Devin Hongslo won the shot put with a throw of 34’9”. Laney Decker won the javelin with a throw of 95’3”. Emma Solberg was second in the 300m hurdles in :49.63. Connie Hathcoat was second in the discus at 97’5”. Emily Winquist placed second in the long jump at 15’10.25” and took third in the 400m dash with a time of 1:03.63. The 4x400m relay team of Winquist, Ayonna Schissel, Elsie Bovill, and Madelyn Haisch took second with a time of 4:33.23. Tarryn Haisch was third in the 300m hurdles in :53.86. Cordelia Koppman was third in the discus with a throw of 93’10”. Schissel was third in the triple jump in 32’8.75”.
Ethan Bovill won the 400m dash in :53.02. Evan Haak won the shot put with a throw of 45’4.5”. Tommy Walth took the top spot in the javelin at 135’1”. Jackson Meyer won the triple jump with a jump of 39’9”. The 4x400m relay team of Evan Brown, Brody Andrews, Darin Dykstra, and Bovill won in a time of 3:37.98. Andrews placed second in the 200m dash with a time of :23.62 and also second in the 400m dash in :53.50. Dykstra was third in the 300m hurdles in :44.23. Jose Topete-Lopez was third in the shot put at 44’6”.
