The Beresford Family Chiropractic Clinic is moving. Effective this week or next, the clinic run by Dr. Kevin Huggenberger will be located off West Cedar Street in the Subway plaza.

It’s a short move from his former location on 16th Street, but an exciting one for Huggenberger.

“The new location will offer all the same treatment options that I have been providing the past seven years,” he said. “I decided on the change mainly for downsizing purposes. I wanted to have a smaller footprint and a better sized fit for my practice while keeping the same overall functionality.”

Huggenberger, who has been a chiropractor for 10 years, has spent the past seven years practicing in a clinic on 16th Street, a location and business he took over from Dr. Becky Bear. His new location on Cedar offers greater visibility to the public, as well as a chance for him to really make the location his own from the ground up.

Last week, he was putting the finishing touches on the place, including the installation of a beautiful wooden reception desk that was handcrafted by Huggenberger’s father.

“I’m excited for this change and getting everyone in to see the new space,” he said. “I look forward to continuing to help folks in our area and these great communities. I appreciate everyone that has gotten me to where I am today, including family, patients, Dr. Becky, and countless others. I am very blessed and thankful for the support!”

In his new location, Huggenberger will continue to offer a wide range of chiropractic care, including a variety of chiropractic joint manipulation options, an assortment of therapies that are both passive and active, massage, decompression therapy, school physicals, and a new option in 2026: DOT physicals.

“The main complaints we treat, and what chiropractic care aims to help with, are musculoskeletal in nature,” explains Huggenberger. “Neck, back, shoulder, hip, or any other primarily joint/muscle related aches, pains, or restrictions. The beauty is that treatments have a pretty wide spectrum of use from managing day to day pains, recovering from something more significant, or just optimizing better movement and keeping the body mobile. We focus on acute, chronic, or maintenance care.”

Huggenberger hails from northwest Iowa. He graduated from Morningside College and received his doctorate in chiropractic from Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa.

“A fun fact,” adds Huggenberger, “is that Davenport and Plamer are where the chiropractic profession originated from!”

These days, it’s a busy life for Huggenberger and his wife, who have two children, ages 7 and 4, with another on the way this spring.

The Beresford Chiropractic Clinic’s new clinic is located at 1108 W. Cedar Street. Huggenberger invites patients and members of the community to stop by and check it out. He hopes to have an open house sometime soon.
