Boys move to 1-7, Girls are 3-5 on the season

It’s been a rough season so far for the Watchdog Boys and Girls basketball teams. The teams have battled it out against some tough opponents.

Currently, the boys are 1 – 7 on the season, while the girls hold a 3-5 record with plenty of season left to play.

Games played last week by the teams included:

Beresford – vs- McCook Central/Montrose

The Watchdogs took on McCook Central/Montrose on Friday, Jan. 9. The Boys came out on the bottom 37 – 67, while the girls ended on the short end as well, 66 – 78.

Beresford – vs- Chester

On Thursday, Jan. 8, it was a close game for the Watchdog boys against Chester. The boys came out just a little short, 60 – 68. The girls, meanwhile, fell 49 – 64 to Chester.

Both teams are back in action this week.
