Health food store will continue online

Living Waters Trading Post Health Food Store, located in a shared space with Makers Market in downtown Beresford, is closing its brick and mortar location.
Effective Dec. 20, the store will move its operations online.
“After December 20, we will be selling online, delivery/shipping/local pickups, and working markets,” said Brandi Snell, who owns the store along with her husband, Jonathan. “We hope to do some pop ups next year as well with some of our specialty, local products, with a central location/warehouse.”
The Snells are sad to say goodbye to their physical location, they said, but it has to be done for personal reasons, Brandi explains.
“This change has come with much prayer and was not so easy to make,” she said. “We love having the retail space, and getting to talk to the beautiful people who come in. Due to many factors, and our family’s needs, we have to move the business in a different direction for 2026.”
The Snells have enjoyed having a physical store during the past year.
“We have been very blessed by this opportunity! We were able to share the space with another business — Maker’s Market — and help each other out,” she said. “We are so grateful to those who have come in and supported us. We understand that some people enjoy shopping in person, and we are sad to not be able to offer that anymore. We also love small town downtowns — they are so cute and important. We definitely love being in a downtown space and love the old buildings!
Living Waters Trading Post and Health Food Store offers a variety of health food options, from organic foods and snacks to supplements and remedies. Online, that mission will continue.
“Each product is chosen specifically, as we want to work with companies who are ethical, and share the same vision,’ Brandi said. “We partner with local to South Dakota businesses, nationwide businesses, and ethical farms in many different nations to provide the best products. Some of our bestsellers are Organic Fair Trade coffee, and our specialty teas. We also promised to not offer seed oils, and many buy our Olive Oil and Avocado Oil. All of these things will be offered online with delivery, shipping, or local pickup.”
The Snells wish to thank all who were instrumental in helping them start the store, and those who will continue to patronize their business online.
“We are honored and grateful for the support our family has received,” said Snell. “We are heavily involved in the community with farmers markets, and local ministry in Sioux Falls. We have been so grateful to start something like this. To share our hearts for Jesus and all that we have learned about health is the greatest mission we could possibly be on. We have felt the healing power of Christ in our lives, and He has changed our hearts when it comes to how we care for our bodies and the earth. We hope to continue this mission, by honoring the Lord and our family.”
