Last week, the Royal Ball board presented the Alcester charity Santa & Mrs. C’s Kids with a check for $5,300, the profit from this year’s Royal Ball, held in late October. Together with the money raised through the Summertime Wonderland Pageant, the total given to Santa & Mrs. C’s Kids this year from organizers of the Royal Ball is $5,665, along with 150 donated toys. Said Dave Hodgson, board member for Santa & Mrs. C’s Kids charity: “I can’t put into words how grateful I am for everyone who played a part – sponsors, donors, volunteers, our amazing queens, and the entire community.
