Beresford held off Dakota Valley in a 5-3 win on Friday, June 27. They scored two runs in the bottom of the second, two in the bottom of the third, and one in the fourth for a 5-0 lead. Dakota Valley rallied for three runs in the top of the third, but Beresford was able to shut them down the rest of the game.
Anderson had two singles and two RBIs. Oberle, Haak, and Voss all had a single with an RBI. Martz, Ethan Bobzin, and Ben Seeley all had one hit apiece. Haak pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed three earned runs on four hits and three walks with six strikeouts. Bobzin pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed a hit and two walks with two strikeouts.

Beresford defeats Tabor

Beresford Post 72 snatched the lead late in their 7-6 victory over Tabor Jr. Legion Post 183 on Monday, June 30. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the sixth when Tucker Martz grounded out, scoring one run.
A single by Kasen Voss put Beresford on the board at the bottom of the 4th. Tabor flipped the game on its head in the top of the 6th, scoring six runs on three hits to take the lead 6-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a grand slam to left field by Alex Adler on an 0-2 count that drove in four.
Beresford captured the lead, 7-6, in the bottom of the sixth when Ben Seeley singled, scoring two runs, Ian Henderson drew a walk, scoring one run, and Tucker Martz grounded out, scoring one run.
Ashton Oberle earned the win for Beresford. The right-handed pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Tucker Martz led things off on the hill for Beresford. The starting pitcher surrendered five hits and six runs over six innings, striking out four and walking three.
Charlie Eide and Cam Mullinix each collected two hits for Beresford. Evan Haak and Ben Seeley each drove in two runs for Beresford. Ethan Bohzin stole two bases.
