The Beresford 14u Baseball Team ran their streak to 11 straight wins after posting five victories in their lasts five games.
Beresford 14, Canton 1
On Tuesday, July 15, Beresford cruised to a 14-1 victory. They scored three runs right away in the top of the first. Canton got one run in the bottom of the inning making the score 3-1. Beresford’s offense kept rolling from there. They scored two in the second and three more in the third for a 9-1 lead. After a scoreless fourth inning, Beresford plated five more runs in the fifth, and the game ended on the 10-run rule.
Max Kinney had two hits and two RBIs. Stetson Lounsbery had a hit and two RBIs. Bo Eide added a double and an RBI. Evan Rosheim and Bentley Schurch each had a single with an RBI. Liam Moumy had a hit. Camdyn Meester and Garrison Zweifel each had an RBI. Mason Hofer pitched three innings and allowed an earned run on a hit and three walks with three strikeouts. Lounsbery tossed two innings and had five strikeouts.

Dakota Valley Purple 0
On Thursday, July 17, Beresford had a double-header against Dakota Valley teams. In the first game, Beresford scored in the first three innings to beat Dakota Valley Purple. They scored two in the first, five in the second, and four more in the third for the 11-0 win in four innings.
Eide pitched four innings without allowing a hit with two walks and four strikeouts. Karzen Sommervold had two hits with three RBIs. Boston Jensen had two hits and two RBIs. Eide, Lounsbery, and John Savey all had a hit and an RBI each.
Beresford 18,
Dakota Valley White 2
In the game against Dakota Valley White, Beresford scored three runs in the top of the first. Dakota Valley got a run in the bottom of the third to make the score 3-1. Beresford then exploded for 15 runs in the top of the fourth. The game ended after Dakota Valley scored just one run in the bottom of the fourth.
Hofer had two doubles with two RBIs. Jacob Benson and Jensen both had a single and double with two RBIs each. Sommervold added two hits, one a triple, and an RBI. Lounsbery, Schurch, and Kinny all had a single and an RBI. Zweifel had two RBIs, and Meester had one RBI. Zweifel pitched three innings and allowed an earned run on two hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Sommervold pitched an inning and allowed an earned run on two walks and two strikeouts.
Beresford 18, Clear Lake 3
A big first inning helped Beresford to a win over Clear Lake on Saturday, July 19. Beresford rallied for 12 runs right away in the top of the first. After Clear Lake scored three runs in the second, Beresford had a five-run third inning and then added one more in the fourth.
Savey had three hits, one a double, and four RBIs. Lounsbery had three hits, two of them doubles, and three RBIs. Hofer also had three hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Rosheim added a single and double with an RBI. Kinney and Benson each had a single and two RBIs each. Sommervold, Schurch, and Meester all had one hit and one RBI. Zweifel also had a single. Rosheim pitched four innings and allowed three runs, all unearned, on two hits and four walks with six strikeouts.
Beresford 4, Groton 1
In their second game on Saturday, Beresford took an early lead on their way to a 4-1 win. They scored two in the top of the first and another in the second for a 3-0 lead. The score remained 3-0 until the top of the fifth. Beresford added another run to extend the lead to 4-0. Groton scored their lone run in the bottom of the sixth.
Kinney had a single with two RBIs. Lounsbery added a hit and an RBI. Rosheim, Savey, Schurch, and Zweifel all had one hit each. Sommervold had an RBI. Savey pitched six innings and allowed an earned run on three hits with 11 strikeouts.
