A Beresford woman is also involved as emcee of the event
A businesswoman from Hudson is among the speakers for the 4th annual Women’s Visionary Summit: Know Your Worth. The conference takes place August 7 at the Canopy by Hilton in Sioux Falls.
This year’s speakers include small business owners from the eastern side of South Dakota who will answer questions and provide solutions for pricing services or products, negotiation, and sales strategy.
Shania Rozeboom of rural Hudson, the founder and owner of Rainy Day Coffee Co. in Beresford, is one of the featured speakers during the Empowerment Panel of the day.
“I have learned so much these past five years since starting Lucille the Coffee Truck and I have so much knowledge and advice that I’d love to pass along,” said Rozeboom. “My message is ‘Community over competition. We all benefit from helping each other!’”
Rozeboom, along with the four other members of the panel, will be focusing on the conference’s theme of “Knowing Your Worth.”
She will be joined by Jessica Lopez, owner of JL Construction of Sioux Falls; Darci Ford, founder and co-owner of Spot-On Printing of Volga; Chantelle Duncan, founder and owner of 605 Vixen in Sioux Falls, and moderator Ashley Kingdon-Reese, founder and owner of Independent Health Solutions in Huron.
Rozeboom started Rainy Day Coffee Co. as a side hustle in 2019 roasting coffee beans and selling at local markets. In 2021, she and husband Seth built “Lucille the Coffee Truck,” her mobile coffee bar on wheels that serves customers at various events. In November of 2024, Rozeboom opened her brick and mortar business in downtown Beresford at 216 N. 3rd St. The facility houses a drive thru and inside coffee bar that serves a full drink menu, plus food options and baked goods. The shop also houses a roasting area plus a garage spot for Lucille
Rozeboom is excited to speak at the upcoming conference, and she encourages women involved in a variety of industries to attend.
“The SD CEO East Women’s Business Center is a great connection for any woman in business,” she said. “I have reached out to them a few different times to help with different things and also have attended a few of their conferences and just met people through networking!”
Keynote Speaker for the conference is Jeana Goosmann, owner of Goosmann Law Firm in Sioux City. Goosmann is the founder and CEO of Goosmann as well as a practicing attorney. Jeana has spent the last 15 years building a thriving law firm with 25 attorneys and office locations in Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska. A bold business leader and attorney, Jeana helps CEOs, executives, and business owners navigate complex legal issues, protect what matters most, and scale with confidence.
