It’s something special to have an online version of a community newspaper available, says Republic Editor Riva Sharples.
“There are a lot of logistics involved in getting a newspaper hosted online, especially with a small staff, and of course, there are additional costs involved in an online presence,” said Sharples. “It’s for that reason that you don’t find many community newspapers online. I hope area residents will appreciate our efforts to have an online presence, and I hope many will utilize it! Having The Republic content available online will allow area residents to share news and information on a timely basis. Enjoy!”
For advertisers, there are special advertising rates currently in place for The Republic online. If you’d like to get your advertisements posted online, please contact Editor Riva Sharples.
